• all unecessary post items, links and inactive links are removed

So where does the time go? Not sure! How about some meaningless numbers (gotta apologize to those who are numerically challenged):

• as of today, Reak has written exactly 60 wonderful blog entries in 6 categories, a mere 1 lonely post a week,
• that is accompanied by 501 cool, calm and collected comments, an average 8.35 comments per post,
• there has been a total of just under 10,000 unique visitors and over 100,000 hits,
• the top 5 most visited posts are here, here, here, here and here,
• the most commented post is here with 29 comments, the rest of the top 5 most commented posts are here with 26, here with 25, here with 22 and here with 20,
• out of the 60 entries, only two are left uncommented. Help me set a record by commenting here and here,

• on the dark side, there has been 12,250 spam comments caught-that is an average just over 33 a day,
• some of the weird search engine key phrases that have landed here are “funny looking cambodian guy”, “khmer girls in love”, “cambodia do they make good wife”, and “ah-oun cambodian”. Oh no! who search for all of these?

What the hell does it mean?

[hint 1] it’s a verb used to tell things in a way we do not like

Whenever I speak this word, people think I’m an alien and ask “where are you from?”. Then again, maybe I am indeed an alien. No wait, I’m not exactly an alien. I’m just from Siem Reap.

And you do realize that apart from Angkor Wat and hundreds of other temples, there is one more thing that differentiate Siem Reap from the rest of Cambodia. It’s the way we speak.

You might have heard of it before or you might have never heard of it before. So I thought it might be fun to put this word up for people to guess what does it mean? If you happens to know this word, please be silent for a while. Vireak, alien or not alien. It’s you to decide.
