I have my share of listening to khmer songs. Its a shame that I only find the older songs to be more interesting than the modern ones. The music industry in cambodia only want to make a quick buck and making quality music is secondary. A good example is the melody and the awful high squeaky voices of female singers. They really need to get away from that high pitchy sound and start learning how to sing in ranges. There are only a few people that can pull it off and i can only think of 2 singers at the top of my head. I’m feeling you on the music. I have my share of listening to khmer songs.
