Imagine you obtain this scholarship thing to study outside Cambodia. The tuition will be paid for. You have made your family proud. You would also think that you’ve also done the country a great deed, right? Wrong! Especially if you’re a guy.
Did you know? that according to the official statistics, the population of Cambodia consists of more girls than guys. Another interesting fact is that there’re way more guys going to study abroad than girls. Combining the two facts, we’ve got an interesting scenario: an imbalance between male and female elements in our home country at any given point in time.
Of course, this hasn’t taken into account the number of guys who leave love ones behind and stay permenently abroad. Well there’s no fairy tale here, either the guy dumps the girl first or the girl dumps the guy first. It’s far away! far too long! A sad reality just like the saying:
But who the hell cares about these imbalance thing? Well I don’t know. I thought life is about balance. A county probably needs balance too, right? Oh yeah! you might have heard about the new law about one-to-one spouse thing. That’ll make it abit tricky if you know what I mean.
Whatever, the perfect scenario would be to have more girls than guys going out studying abroad. The queue of guys waiting for girls to come is super long here. If that happens, I’ll make sure I’ll be in front of the queue…keke…(start dreaming now).

Your statement “The queue of guys waiting for girls to come is super long here. If that happens, I’ll make sure I’ll be in front of the queue…keke…(start dreaming now).” seems not to be correct. As I have observed over the past years, I see that the structure is stack or LIFO, not queue. This really means that the more male juniors come, the less seniors get the chance, leading to starvation of seniors 
. If you are in the front of queue -> bottom of the stack, you will be starved until no more male juniors come.

It make me feel sad about china!! China has more male than female… As a result they come to Cambodia and other countries hmmmm I don’t like that
