nah...pim's talk about constitution, criminal law and tax make reak's head go spinning like crazy....

true, that it does not mean we must go, but khmer people nature don't like to reject invitation.. pim's ideas of tax on wedding income is quiet practical though.

as for those music, ... it's probably difficult, but well...whatever coz reak doesn't listen to them anyway

hm...nice idea but pim think this law is not consistent with our constitution article 31 which guarantee Khmer citizen right. Organizing an extravagant wedding party is fine as long as it does not alter the other people right. They just send you the invitation card, does not mean you MUST go. If you don't go (dun gift them gift/money), those organizer is not going to kill you. If they do then here go our transitional criminal law.

if our law maker does not want people to hold such a big party for money! then they should impose TAX on the wedding income.

for the song, pim think the producer focus more on the quantity rather than quality. they dun care about what copyrights is! some of the song writer should not call themselves writer but song copier/translator. Is it too difficult to write a song???

Haha... The wedding law's the most practical one. Hope ur prediction comes true. Each wedding season, I guess a lot Cambodians put on a considerable amount of weight because of all the unhealthy wedding reception meals they eat almost everyday. Not to mention the number of traffic accidents after some of the party-goers got drunk and still drive anyway.

As for the songs, yeah sometimes they sound like they're in a foreign language. How on earth could an artist release a different album every month? Why can't the government be as effective as that? Compared to all the crappy songs, I'll choose ur big bro's signature song for sure... LOL...

vichea: yeah, I believe the practices must be stopped either by us collectively boycotting such practices and by such law. As for the modern songs, whether they're in Khmer or hybrid, I still don't know what they sing about.

mongkol: thanks! though they're just predictions...you might see me at Wat Phnom if they're all come true...hehe.
