Gentlemen, ladies...this post is neither intended to discuss about corruptions nor is it a complaint. It is to give essential information.

In fact, if money is not much a problem, it's worth to have a DOT KH domain.

After listenning to all those complaint. The best is not to engage with .kh domin. Doesn't what you are not going to get any faster in term of speed. Example would be internet cafe. Quite often you see internet cafe label "High Speed Internet" and it's as slow as hell.
Therefore; I suggest not to support .kh domin. Not matter what you are not going to get any faster.

It not that they can't change an IP address for you, but they want to money for themself. Those officials in cambodia, from the bottom to the top are all corrupts. I don't know if any of you know that in order to become an official in cambodia, they have to buy the position, and it not cheap, therfore, they have to get from all of us the get their monay back. Everything involve dollars not riels. Corruption is the norm in cambodia.

Bora, what you said is true.

Jinja, I'm not sure why some of your applications were rejected. But when I asked, the answer was "the domain name must either be the same as in the entity certificate or be a direct translation".

For the moment, it is very complicated for getting the domain .com.kh, many process and getting slow.

I hope that MPTC should improved on this side, as we are khmere we need our .kh but unlucky for all Khmere need, that make our Khmere need force their mind to buy the domain from other country that they process a few second and getting free if we host our web with them. Not much document required, as I think it is meaningless for much document required.
If we still keep like this our Khmere Domain registration will not get more client ...

[...] How hard could it be to get and manage a .kh internet domain name? According to Vireak, just follow his eight easy steps, pay a couple of bribes, wait a month for the paperwork to clear, and you’re all set — not hard at all!. The best part? After the registration is done, the admin won’t allow the domain owner any control over the DNS…I’m not too pleased with this the domain owner is supposed to have control over his own domain. I got the feeling that the admin might hold the domain for ransom…and indeed it was [...]
