Smile…tomorrow will be worse.

This is one of the philosophies of the famous Murphy’s law which states that:

If there are more than one way to do something, and one of those ways can result in a disaster, then someone will do it.

In other words:

Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong.

The law dictates our everyday life and is so practical that there is Mathematical formula of its own. Here are some more corollaries of the law:

  • Anything that can’t go wrong will anyway.
  • If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.
  • Nothing is idiot-proof, as soon as you make it idiot-proof, along comes another idiot.
  • You never run out of things that can go wrong.

Murphy’s Law in Cambodia by me:

If your opinions can be intrepreted in more than one meanings, and one of those can amount to defamation, then someone will sue you.

And…:

If you have a 99% chance of winning a law suit in Cambodia, the judge’s verdict will be from the other 1%.

Here is my favorite:

When it is not necessary to make a decision, it is necessary not to make a decision.

Proof of Murphy’s law:

Murphy’s Law cannot be proven, yet is correct, as when you try to prove Murphy’s Law, you will see that the proof is incorrect. This is obviously due to Murphy’s Law, therefore Murphy’s Law is correct.

Murphy’s Mother Law:

My son was right…

And one more…

When things go wrong, they go wrong at the worst possible time and place.

So:

Smile…tomorrow will be worse.
