Bought this new digital camera a couple of weeks ago. It’s the Fujifilm FinePix F30. I bought on the basis that it receives some good reviews and its high sensitivity 6MP sensor; which means that it is good in low light condition such as night shots. And of course, it’s a pocket size toy and not too expensive. I was also considering a Sony H5, but it was more expensive and wasn’t pocket sized. It costs me a handsome 350USD with a 512MB memory card though.
So far, so good, but I’m not yet learning everything and getting the best out of this small toy yet. Will use this camera as a stepping stone and learning curve to get to a more advanced one which is DSLR in a year or two.
Here are some orchid (orchidae) pictures taken with macro shots. It’s not a high-end camera, but the image quality is good but not too good. Comments and critics are warmly welcomed.

Nice shots! Your new toys did really great jobs in capuring picture in macro mode.
