Bought this new digital camera a couple of weeks ago. It’s the Fujifilm FinePix F30. I bought on the basis that it receives some good reviews and its high sensitivity 6MP sensor; which means that it is good in low light condition such as night shots. And of course, it’s a pocket size toy and not too expensive. I was also considering a Sony H5, but it was more expensive and wasn’t pocket sized. It costs me a handsome 350USD with a 512MB memory card though.
So far, so good, but I’m not yet learning everything and getting the best out of this small toy yet. Will use this camera as a stepping stone and learning curve to get to a more advanced one which is DSLR in a year or two.
Here are some orchid (orchidae) pictures taken with macro shots. It’s not a high-end camera, but the image quality is good but not too good. Comments and critics are warmly welcomed.
